| Daily Duties |
You will be involved in all aspects of tree work with potential to achieve grounds person or climber status with formal qualifications in arboriculture.

| Skills/experience/ qualifications required |
You will need reasonable standards of reading and numeracy. It will be useful if you have some previous experience or qualifications in horticulture. |
| Training offered |
You will be given a combination of training on the job, in-house, and attending National Proficiency Training Council short courses in arboriculture is essential. The apprenticeship will take 2-3 years. Training in chainsaw maintenance, risk assessment and adhering to a safe system of work. |
| Salary |
£7,500 - £13,000 p.a. |
| Hours/days of work |
40 hours per week 0730 – 1630 hours some flexibility. Generally on site by 0800 and leave by 1600 |
| Other benefits |
Assistance in purchasing advanced equipment and clothing over and above standard issue clothing and personal protective equipment. |
